30 days of creativity – Day 15 – Fucking Glastonbury tor and lots of swearing.

30 day creativity challenge

Day  15, Glastonbury tor.

I’m not a fucking hippy trust me, but I did need to get some exercise and blow some cobwebs out of my stupid mind that is full of what if’s and if onlys. I was hoping to get to the charity shops because my retro Denby came from Glastonbury but I have a very low tolerance of crystals and fucking dreamcatchers make me pull wings off fairies.

It started raining about half way up the hill, and I did this quick sketch of the door of the church at the top of the hill, I was sat in the relative dry (stupid thing has no roof) but the raindrops made it really difficult to draw anything so I stopped and was menacing to a fucking hippy instead. Only indirectly menacing; I told him I liked the music he was making with his Indian hippy flute thing, then I told him that it was lucky he wasn’t a drummer because I would have thrown him down the hill if he was. I hate fucking drummers.

Which made me feel lots better.

Along side it comes a Haiku, maybe I am a fucking hippy after all.

I have cried so much

I got cramps from lack of salt

I hope it stops soon

You can see the reason this started and the rest of the days here – http://www.ragbaby.co.uk/1120-2/

And if you want to join in we have a Facebook group – https://www.facebook.com/groups/154085144775381/
Over on Crackbook a bunch of us are going to be working through Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain: A Course in Enhancing Creativity and Artistic Confidence

The first exercises are to draw a self portrait, your hand and something else I can’t remember so you can see improvement. Then you move onto drawing a vase from a silhouette. You can see the vase exercise here – http://drawright.com/vaceface.htm.

The plan is to do an exercise every Sunday from the book.
